Integrated Management Policy
The Journal of Biophilic Design prioritises the effective management of health, safety, and well-being across all aspects of our operations. We are dedicated to safeguarding the health, safety, and welfare of our employees, contractors, and stakeholders. This commitment applies to all workplaces and individuals impacted by our activities, with the promotion of high standards in health and safety seamlessly integrated into our business objectives.
Commitment
At the Journal of Biophilic Design, our aim is to achieve ZERO injuries and prevent occupational ill-health. To achieve this, we take all reasonable steps to continually enhance health and safety practices by setting clear objectives and measurable targets. We firmly believe that workplace injuries and health issues are entirely preventable and that a strong safety culture is essential for successful business operations. No task will be undertaken unless it can be performed safely.
We are committed to fostering a culture where every individual, at every level, supports ongoing improvements in safety practices. Our mission is to deliver products and services that consistently exceed customer expectations while adhering to regulatory standards. We aim to create a workplace where the safety and well-being of our team and partners take precedence, with the belief that all accidents are avoidable.
All contractors working with us must align with this policy, adhering to their safe systems of work and contributing to our Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems. They must ensure that their activities are carried out in a way that minimises risks to themselves and others wherever possible.
The Director takes ultimate responsibility for health, safety, and welfare and will ensure that this responsibility is upheld across all levels of the organisation.
